This course is suitable for teachers with little experience of delivering Tennis sessions, who wish to embrace new approaches to enliven sessions and improve student performance. It is also appropriate for PE teachers seeking to improve and modernise lesson content. Content will include details of modern techniques, imaginative practices as well as doubles tactics for school tennis.

The course on Monday 29th April at Sutton Tennis Academy is with Dan Bloxham. The webinar on Wednesday 8th May is with Emma Wells.

Webinar Prices

SCHOOL SUBSCRIPTION £130 + VAT (Gives access on up to 5 separate devices)
Course runs 10am – 3.30pm. Prices include refreshments, lunch and resources. Webinar runs 7-8.30pm. The webinar will be recorded, the video will be sent out the next day and is available to view for 48 hours.
Course Leaders
Dan Bloxham
Dan is the Head Coach of the All England Club. He is Licensed LTA Level 5 coach. He also delivers the Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative, leading the Performance dimension of this programme. This involves the provision of elite coaching, analysis and performance support. Dan is a Sports Ambassador for HSBC along with Tim Henman, and is the author of several coaching books
Emma Wells
Emma is the Head of coach Education for PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) for the UK and she is the first female to hold this international director position. With over 17 years of experience in the Sports and Leisure industry she has made a significant impact in both public and private sector as well as sports development. She is the sole owner of Emma Wells Tennis, a successful Tennis Club in Wimbledon Park. Earlier this year she expanded and opened a sister site in Roehampton. As an experienced tutor and a trainer for the LTA and PTR and has worked closely with the LTA in developing the Tennis For Kids program from 2015-18 as well as managing the implementation of other LTA programs.
